What's the typical workday like (full-time)?
In a typical morning, you might:
Get to the office, get settled, join a morning stand-up to update everyone on progress. You grab a bagel, cream cheese, and some coffee from the snack bar. You sync up with the content editor to get a better idea of the goals of the next post.
Coffee in hand, you head to your desk, open Trello to find today's article is about location scouting. It takes you back to your old film school days. You do some light reading of ranking articles to better understand the subject matter and reader expectations.
Once you're done, you Slack your outline to the editor for approval. He adds a few minor notes, but otherwise, it's a greenlight.
You start writing your content and enter the zone. You fine-tune the intro, add internal links and button up the intro and outro. Once you're done, you add a series of title variants, social copy, and other keywords. You update your Trello card move the task card over to the editor's column for approval.
Next up, you have a video essay about the "Directing Style of Denis Villeneuve." You've been brushing up on his films recently (Blade Runner, The Arrival, etc) and you put together an outline of the segments and send that over to the editor....right in time for lunch.
You and the team stroll to Tender Greens on the Promenade, sharing some friendly banter about why Season 2 of Westworld was just okay.
What does StudioBinder have to offer?
We initially work with writers as remote freelancers. However, if it's a good mutual fit, we could potentially shift to a full-time, in-office position with...
